Public Notification Handbook Revised
EPA has revised the Public Notification Handbook. The
purpose of the handbook is to explain EPA's Public Notification Rule
and provide examples of effective public notices. The handbook is
designed to meet the needs of public water systems of all sizes. The new
version of the handbook updates the June 2000 version. It reflects some
recent EPA regulations, including the Filter Backwash Recycling
Rule, Long Term 1Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule, Long Term 2
Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule, and Stage 2
Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule. |
